Twilight
Stephenie Meyer
When reading a good book I want to always be tuned in. A romantic love story that takes a tradgic turn. "About three things I was certain. First,Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didnt know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And Third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him." This book will always be one of my favorites. Its an amazing story! Stephenie Meyer's Twilight is a story this generation will never forget!
A good theme for this book would be "Love is the strongest force!" Edward Cullen could have easily killed Bella Swan with a touch of a finger but he controlled how badly he thirsted for her. Bella is scared for her mom because she was taking by James, the killer, so she gives herself to him to save her mother. Due to this Edward goes and fights James and saves Bella's life.
I pictured Bella to be an ordinary girl but pretty. Someone who is shy and very observant to her surroundings. She is the kind of girl who hides behind everyone else. She doesnt like to be noticed. If I were to meet Bella I'd first feel like she is boring. She isnt an outgoing girl unlike myself. I can see how she would appeal to everyone and seem interesting to people.
The way that Stephenie makes me feel about the characters while reading this seemed all to real. She made me fall in love with all them the way she had them set in her story. I felt like I was learning about all of Edwards secrets. The feeling when reading this was like opening up a present. It was all new. Mysterious and heartfelt Stephenie achieved them.
The surroundings that the story takes place in fits the story. A small town full of secrets. Wet, cold, and rainy through out the year seemed like a good place for a vampire. Also it was a good place for an uncordinated girl to get hurt bringing more out in the story.
I can honestly say I felt like I was in this book while reading it. As if this was part of my life! Thats a good writer! A good writer writes good books! I'd recommend this book to anyone! I hated that this book had an ending it was that good. No other book that I have read meets the expectations that Stephenie has made for me!

A definning moment in America, was the massacre of Newtown. The one thing on our minds around this time of year is Christmas shopping and get togthers with the family. All sorts of different things on our minds but a phone call later that your child was killed by gun shot is not one of them.
The TV's were loaded with headlines on the killing of twenty plus children. Putting the whole country on mute for a few moments. Parenst rushing to schools to get their children wondering if they are safe. The details only got worse 20 children, ages six and seven, more girls than boys, and six teachers and administrators had been killed, gunned down by a young man armed with an assault rifle.
His name was Adam Lanza. He killed himself when he heard approaching policemen enter the school, but he had enough ammunition to do much more damage than he did. Doing enough damage anyways just days before Christmas. Taking kids lives away and robbing parents of their children.

North Korea launched a long-range rocket in defiance of UN sanctions threats over what Pyongyang's critics insist is a disguised ballistic missile test. There was no immediate report on the success of the launch, but the Japanese government said the missile had passed its southern island chain of Okinawa around 12 minutes after take-off. Japan had deployed missile defense systems to intercept and destroy the rocket if it looked set to fall on its territory. In Seoul, President Lee Myung-Bak called an emergency meeting of his National Security Council to discuss the implications of the launch. Japan's government found the launch intolerable, chief government spokesman Osamu Fujimura said. "It is extremely regrettable that North Korea went through with the launch despite our calls to exercise restraint," he said. The launch followed reports in the South Korean media and satellite imagery analysis by US experts that suggested the rocket had been removed from the launch pad to repair an apparent technical problem.

Twilight
Stephenie Meyer
Bella Swan moved from Phoenix to a small town named Forks. She felt like she was in the way of her moms happiness with her new husband Phil. Bella's first day at Forks High School was all overwhelming until she laid eyes on a group of people. They were extremely beautiful. Bella found them fascinating and wanted to know more. Bella being the suffer in silence type was more observant than anything. She soon became friends with one of the Guys from the group of beautiful people, Edward. The more they hung out and talked the more his secret began to unravel and his undying love for her grew stronger everyday. They fall in love and the more that they love each other the more dangerous it gets. Together they fight for one another and conquer every obstacle they face.

Bell work 11/12/12
When in a discussion, tolerationg someone elses opinion can be very frustrating. The ideals, giving respect, allowing them to express themselves freely. However agreeing, disagreeing, and tolerating anothers ideals may not be easy, respect is deserved for everyone. Some have very stong opinions toward some subjects and listening to what they have to say can upset some people. Everyone has a right to tell their ideals whether you can tolerate them or not may be the problem for some.

To explain why humans can't live off caffeine and bacteria, the smaller one, can Rene Lynch try's to inform us why.
"Bacteria...get all the calories they need from it." Bacteria doesn't need much to live on. Humans need all their vitamins and minerals, unlike bacteria, to survive.
"We don't have the gears to digest the derivatives further." Human bodies take the caffeine as a source of energy but that's all. After that your body does nothing with it.
"Bacterium...it possesses several enzymes that do things to caffeine that we can't." Because the bacteria ca break down and use caffeine for energy and food it can live on it.
Bacteria had the capability to use caffeine in ways that humans cannot allowing them to live off caffeine.
The author answered the question "why bacteria, but not humans, can live off caffeine" Explaining to us all the reasons why even if we aren't satisfied with the turn out.

The authors, the writer of the article, purpose was to describe to the readers what a flying saucer was, and the plans being made by the government to create one.
"The NDC in college park, MD, opened one of more than 100 cardboard boxes from the Air Force recently and came across a 114 page document." This document was written out plans by the government planning to build the "flying saucer".
"The disc shaped craft, which comes complete with an ejector seat, and powered by a ramjet." Here further detail and explanation is given to the reader about the saucer.
There was "a follow up plan to develop weapons suitable for the saucer, to all on it to be used as for reconnaissance, inceptor or tactical bomber." This was another plan made by the government. Adding weapons to the saucer.
I don't believe that "flying saucers" are real, but some of the world does, thy exist around the SI location.
I'm glad the government is searching for new and different ways to help the world and help war. To me this just seems like a movie trying to become real life.
