Before I fall

Samantha Kingston is a pretty, popular, outgoing, has the hottest boyfriend. Seems like a charmed life right? Well it turns out that perfect day in the perfect life is your last day. Sam, thats what her friends call her, has it all going for her. The day that every one whats for is Cupids day. Cupids day is when you get roses and you get to see who gets the most roses. That night there is going to be a party and everyone is going! Her friends are so excited because thats the night she and Rob ,her boyfriend, are going to swap "V" cards. By the time they show up at the party its been storming like crazy and everyone is so wasted they cant stand up straight.
Then as the party goes on like its suppose to be Juliet Sykes graces them with her presence. Juliet Sykes is hated by everyone. Shes the outcast that no one pays attention to. Juliet making an appearance looking pretty is something to be in aw about. Juliet walks right over to Sam and her three bestfriends and calls them each a "B" word. Later that night on there way home the girls have drank way to much for safe diving and its raining outside. As they start driving down the highway Lindsay, one of Sam's bestfriends, brakes really hard and veers off the road yelling something Sam couldnt make out.
The next morning Sam feels strange. As if shes already done this same day before. Sam goes through reliving this same day 7 times and each day she lives it differently and as her last few days come around she learns whats really important.

Current Event

      There has been a little debate on whether the Kindle HD is better than the IPad. So they made some comparisons to try and see if it was true.
      Apple has a wide range of apps a little over 225,000. The Kindle HD gets its apps through Amazon. The Kindle HD is operated by Googles Android system, there is a limited amount of apps for the Kindle HD.
      The iPad had a total of 3.1 million pixels. Making it have a great picture quality. The Kindle HD measures 1,920x1,200 pixels with custom features. Both of these hand helps have such a sharp resolution it's hard to decide what is better.
      The Kindle HD used to be only Wifi now it's available in, the reliable, 4G. The iPad had the same plan ad the Kindle HD but that all depends on who your carrier is. It's safe to say that, the Amazon operated, Kindle HD is less expensive.
      Maybe this will cut down how many people want to debate on this topic. I did research to see, in my opinion, which was a better hand held device and being an active participant in my learning!

9/11 inference

I think that this new building will have extreme safety standards. This building will take very long to make. "At their fastest workers will build one full office floor per week" and there are 104 floors with 2,500 workers working on it a day. Considering how the weather is and holidays they use this building will take longer than they assumed.

TITANIC

I could forgive them. It would be hard to forgive their stupidity for not warning passengers, filling boats 1/2 capacity, and leaving people to drowned. In my last moments knowing that im going to die I can forgive them.

Essay

Of Mice and Men most definetley meets the qualifications of good literature. It has tragedy of universal fear, and human heart conflict. When thanking the Swedish Academy, Steinbeck gave a speech on good literature, he proved Of Mice and Men was a brilliant example.
A good novel shows love, humiliation, conflict, and high spirits in characters or objects. In Steinbecks words, he knew that the understanding and the resolution of fear are a large part of the writers reason for being. Understanding your characters is what good writing is all about, knowing when their emotions are high or low.
The character, George, in Of Mice and Men was a prime example of good literature. In the book George comes off tough and rugged but soon shows a huge hearted side. From the novel he repeatively says "...If I was alone I could live so easy. I could go get a job an work, an no trouble at all...and whatta got? I got you." George wishes he could be a man of no worries but he loves Lennie, another character, and doesn't want anything to happen to him.
Lennie is also a fine example. Lennie means no harm at all, he loves everything. Read in the novel "I could go off and live in those hills..." Lennie knows he makes things difficult on George, he tries so hard to make things right because he loves George.
This novel shows faults, failures, greatness and conflict. Steinbeck met every qualification there is to meet in good writing. The present universal fear has been the result of a forward surge of our knowledge and manipulation of certain dangerous factors in the physical world.

Outside My House

whenever I step out into this picture the smell that runs into my nose is dist, wood, and animals. I open my mouth for a breath and dirt touches my tongue from the wind. Distracting me from the awful taste is the sound of turkeys flocking in the field, birds in the air, and the whistling of the wind. Bracing myself, I feel the cold wind hit my face. Takiing all my senses in, I stop to observe the turkeys, trees, rocks, grass, dirt and the fence that seperates me and these things.
